Neurosurgeon Dr. David Jimenez changes the game of the brain.
San Antonio Magazine has named Cordillera Ranch resident Dr. David Jimenez one of its best doctors of 2012. Dr. Jimenez is the Chairman of Neurosurgery at UT Health Sciences Center San Antonio.
Dr. Jimenez, along with his wife, cosmetic surgeon Constance Barone, have perfected a procedure to help treat a unique congenital birth defect that distorts the brain, skull and face. In 15 years, they have performed 500 of these surgeries. Their first patient is now an honor student in high school and another is learning to fly aircraft.
Clearly, you don’t have to be a brain surgeon to live at Cordillera Ranch. Though, if we’re going to have one, they might as well be the best.
