AREA SCHOOLS
With all that Cordillera Ranch has to offer, we are especially proud to belong to not just one of the San Antonio area’s top school districts, but truly one of the best districts in the state of Texas, Boerne Independent School District. Boerne ISD is an exemplary school district and consistently receives the highest ratings in student test scores, among other accolades, and has become a destination school district for many families. Every year, more and more young families are moving into Cordillera Ranch to provide a better education and lifestyle for their children.
In fact, there are hundreds of children living in Cordillera Ranch who attend Boerne ISD. Additionally, dozens more Cordillera Ranch children go to The Geneva School of Boerne, the TMI Episcopal in far northwest San Antonio, and the Hill Country Montessori School just across Highway 46 from Cordillera Ranch.
Boerne ISD consistently receives the highest district honors in test scores, "A" from the TEA, for the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Rediness (STAAR), and consistently ranks as the #3 Best School District in the San Antonio Area by the NICHE ranking system. The Niche ranking system is based on a rigorous analysis of key statistics and reviews from students and parents. To learn more on how the ranking system works,

TAX ADVANTAGES
If you’re not a Texas resident, you may not know that Texas has no state income tax. Not only do you get more for your money than many other states, but you aren’t taxed on your income either. Lower taxes combined with a favorable regulatory climate for business, moderate housing costs, and a lower cost of living continue to allow Texans to prosper.
