Cordillera Ranch announces that Marc DeWall has taken
the position of Head Golf Professional for the Jack
Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Cordillera Ranch is an
8,600-acre luxury master planned residential community
located in the Texas Hill Country, just north of San
Antonio. The par-72 course and award-winning golf pro
give Cordillera Ranch a championship twosome as the
course and Clubs of Cordillera Ranch are on target to
open to members in June.
DeWall, a graduate from St. Mary’s
University in San Antonio, has been the head golf pro
for Dominion Country Club for the last 11 years. While
at the Dominion, he participated in the organization and
operation of the SBC Championship Dominion Senior PGA
Tour event from 1989-2001.
“Marc is an outstanding golf
professional and we are excited to welcome him as the
Head Golf Pro for our Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf

Earning a Class A PGA Membership in
1992, DeWall has remained intricately involved with the
Southern Texas PGA (STPGA). He has served the STPGA in
such capacities as the board of directors, president of
the western chapter, education chairman, awards
chairman, annual meeting chairman, vice president of the
western chapter, sponsorship chairman and secretary.
DeWall has also received such honors from the Southern
Texas PGA as Golf Professional of the Year for the
Western Chapter, Western Chapter Merchandiser of the
Year and Horton Smith Trophy Award Winner.
“When I first became aware of the
project at Cordillera Ranch, I knew it was going to be a
special place,” said Marc. “The Clubs of Cordillera
concept is so unique, but what impressed me the most are
the people involved with the project. I look forward to
building a team of well-trained golf professionals and
staff that will give our members a truly outstanding
golf experience each and every time they play.”
The exquisite seven resort-style
Clubs of Cordillera Ranch are scheduled to open this
year. The unique clubs will include the The Golf
Club, The Social Club, The Tennis and Swim Club, The
Equestrian Club, The Rod and Gun Club, The Spa and
Athletic Club, and The River Club. As the
construction of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course
nears completion, the Clubs of Cordillera Ranch has
approximately 284 Golf members and a total of 390.

Cordillera Ranch is an 8,600-acre
master planned residential community located north of
San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. The centerpiece
of Cordillera Ranch will be a 7,477-yard Jack Nicklaus
Signature Golf Course scheduled to open in 2006.

will soon feature The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch, which

being developed by Cordillera Ranch Development Corp., a
subsidiary of Lufkin, Texas-based DH Investment Company.
