(August 23, 2005) BOERNE, TEXAS – Cordillera
Ranch, an 8,600-acre master planned residential
community located in the Texas Hill Country, was
recognized with three awards from the Greater San
Antonio Builder’s Association (GSABA) for elements of
its Simply marketing and advertising campaign.
GSABA annually acknowledges excellence in home
advertising and design with its “Summit Awards”.
Cordillera Ranch won awards in three categories for
Best Color Magazine Ad (Developer), Best
Billboard (Developer), and Best Sales Brochure
(Developer).
Cordillera Ranch is a high-end residential community
that offers its residents on-site recreational
opportunities and combines seven resort-style clubs in
one unique location. The Simply campaign, created by San
Antonio-based KGBTexas Public Relations/Advertising,
conveys the resort lifestyle of Cordillera Ranch to
potential homebuyers with headlines such as “Simply
Breathtaking” and “Simply Relaxing.” It also features a
series of photographs that depict the offerings of The
Clubs of Cordillera Ranch and allude to the crown jewel
of the development, a par-72 Jack Nicklaus Signature
Golf Course, the newest addition to only a handful of
Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses across the state.
“We feel very rewarded that GSABA chose to recognize
the uniqueness of the Simply campaign,” said Chris Hill,
Vice President of Cordillera Ranch Development Corp.
“The Simply concept truly embodies the natural beauty of
Cordillera Ranch and the uncomplicated way of life in
the Texas Hill Country and has really resonated with
potential homebuyers.”
The campaign’s elements include outdoor media, print
ads, a new collateral system, direct mail, and a new
positioning line: “This is living. Pure and Simple.” To
qualify for the Summit Awards, the campaign had to have
run in the recognized media between April 1, 2004 and
March 31, 2005. In the Best Color Magazine Ad
(Developer) category, entries were judged on excellence
of concept, copy, layout, overall design execution, and
communication of the advertisement’s objective.
Cordillera Ranch received this award for its “Simply
Heaven” print ad. The Best Sales Brochure (Developer)
category evaluated overall excellence of theme, graphic
design, effective communication, value and
appropriateness. Best Billboard (Developer) entries were
judged on concept, copy, readability, impact and
execution. Cordillera Ranch won this award for its
“Simply Golden” billboard. The Simply campaign will
continue through the end of the year.
Cordillera Ranch is an 8,600-acre master planned
residential community located north of San Antonio in
the Texas Hill Country. The centerpiece of Cordillera
Ranch will be a 7,477-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf
Course expected to be completed by late 2005. Cordillera
Ranch offers its residents on-site recreational
opportunities and boasts 1 to 10+-acre estates,
including valley view, golf course, Guadalupe River
frontage, and hilltop homesites. Residents of the
guarded/gated community will have the opportunity to
join The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch, which will feature
seven resort-style clubs in one location, including The
Golf Club, Social Club, Tennis and Swim Club, Equestrian
Club, Rod and Gun Club, Spa and Athletic Club and River
Club. Cordillera Ranch is being developed by Cordillera
