(NOVEMBER 30, 2005) BOERNE, TX – Cordillera Ranch, the luxury 8,600-acre master planned residential community located in the Texas Hill Country, recently celebrated the ongoing development of its Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. The par-72 course is currently being completed and is scheduled to open next spring.

Recently the Club’s members enjoyed an exclusive event on the driving range, celebrating the golf course’s progress. The members were able to take a tour of the course, as well as try out their swing on the new driving range. The development of the Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is exceeding all expectations, and the course has attracted many new buyers throughout the development. To date, the Clubs of Cordillera Ranch has approximately 284 Golf members and a total of 390.

For example, our par 3 16th hole over a natural rock canyon is poised to be one of the most photographed holes in the Southwest.”

The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch make this development a one-of-a-kind Hill Country retreat. The Clubs combine seven resort-style clubs in one unique location, including: The Golf Club, The Social Club, The Tennis and Swim Club, The Equestrian Club, The Rod and Gun Club, The Spa and Athletic Club, and The River Club. The Clubs have celebrated several milestones this year, including naming Kris “K.D.” Davis, Head Golf Course Superintendent. K.D. brings to Cordillera Ranch a wealth of golf course management experience and familiarity with the Nicklaus brand. Also this year, Cordillera Ranch announced the hiring of East West Partners Club Management to work as its partner in the design, development, and operation of its club facilities.

Cordillera Ranch is an 8,600-acre master planned residential community located north of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. The centerpiece of Cordillera Ranch will be a 7,477-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course expected to be completed by late 2005. Cordillera Ranch offers its residents on-site recreational opportunities and boasts 1 to 10+-acre estates, including valley view, golf course, Guadalupe River frontage, and hilltop homesites.
