(June 1, 2007) BOERNE, TX – Cordillera Ranch, an 8,700-acre master planned residential community located in the Texas Hill Country, is serving as the site for the house that has been selected for WOAI-TV’s San Antonio Living Concept Home project. Tours of this home will be held Thursdays through Sundays starting July 19 and will run through August 5. The home will offer modern design concepts in conjunction with stunning views of the surrounding Hill Country landscape at Cordillera Ranch, as well as Cordillera’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.

“Cordillera Ranch is proud to be involved in the 2007 San Antonio Living Concept Home project,” said Chris Hill, Vice President, Cordillera Ranch Development Corporation. “This home is located on a magnificent piece of property with golf course views and unique environmental features. The innovative design and state-of-the-art amenities found in this home provide the perfect marriage of nature and luxury that characterizes the lifestyle at Cordillera Ranch.”

The concept home, which is being built by Stadler Custom Homes (stadlercustomhomes.com), is located on a 1.67-acre lot that overlooks the 14th and 15th holes of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Cordillera Ranch. The property for the concept home includes a striking, 20-foot deep ravine that accentuates the innovative multi-level design of the home. The 7,000+ square-foot house will include over 1,200 square-feet of outdoor areas perched over and in the ravine, taking full advantage of the pool and water features that will cascade through the walls of the canyon.

Tours of the San Antonio Living Concept Home at Cordillera Ranch are scheduled for the summer of 2007 during three consecutive weekends. Tickets for the tour will cost $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. All proceeds from tours of the concept home will benefit the San Antonio Food Bank (safoodbank.org), an organization that distributes donated food to more than 300 human service organizations throughout 16 counties in southwest Texas.

WOAI-TV’s San Antonio Living show developed the concept home program as a way of showcasing local builders and the latest trends in home design. As part of this program, San Antonio Living partners with builders and residential developments to spotlight the best that the San Antonio area has to offer. The process of constructing the concept home at Cordillera is being videotaped so that periodic progress reports can be shown on San Antonio Living over a period of several months. Photos of progress on the home and construction updates can also be found on www.woai.com.
